AMECTech is pleased to announce that BIMSearch is integrated with Autodesk Construction Cloud®, a portfolio of software and services that combines advanced technology, a builder’s network and predictive insights.
Now, BIMSearch customers can easily import BIM models stored in BIM 360® or Autodesk® Docs, the common data environment underpinning Autodesk Construction Cloud, to quickly calculate quantities from elements within those BIM models for accurate project budgeting.
BIMSearch helps make BIM much more accessible. “Where previously engineers needed costly software, now you just need a browser and all the data from your BIM model is at your fingertips,” said Amit Maimoni, CEO of Amit Maimoni Engineering and Consulting, as well as AMECTech. “Integrating BIMSearch with Autodesk Construction Cloud is particularly exciting for us because Autodesk continually demonstrates that BIM is the future of construction.”
Yaniv Stoliar, CTO of AMECTech, added: “BIMSearch is just the first step for AMECTech. We have more apps in the pipeline and getting the word out about BIMSearch will enable us to continue improving our product and develop more”.
“Project teams rely on Autodesk Construction Cloud for the most up-to-date BIM models,” said James Cook, head of integrations at Autodesk Construction Solutions. “Seamlessly importing those models into BIMSearch will empower project leaders to easily reference accurate and timely model information as they prepare budgets.”
Thanks to the integration of BIMSearch with Autodesk Construction Cloud, working with BIMSearch has never been easier. Simply sign-up, log-in, and you are ready to go! Administrators can add the new integration from Autodesk Construction Cloud’s App Gallery.
